Divisions
Farmers profit realization is by yield enhancement and efficient soil nutrient management practices. This division deals with crop production technologies for paddy, pulses, groundnut, minor millets and fodder crops along with soil suitability for agriculture, horticulture and soil fertility management strategies for the benefit of the farming community.

3. Soil & Water Testing Laboratory
Soil & water testing laboratory is in operation since 2011 at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kattupakkam. Soil & water health cards are issued along with recommendation to farmers.
4. Special Activities
Fodder seed and slips production and made available to the farmers and institution through Public Private Partnership mode (PPP Mode).
